friday 1:00pm to 2:00pmthe food bank is located in the lower level of the fire station, with its entrance off perley lane. hallowell residents can go to the food bank once a month, if needed. referral slips are required and can be picked up at hallowell city hall during working hours. storm closings or holiday closings will be posted. shut-ins or individuals needing emergency food supplies may call 992-6899.please do not call the hallowell fire department. the hallowell food bank is now also offering to registered hallowell food bank clients access to a myriad of fresh produce both fruits and vegetables, as well as bakery items every friday from 1:30 - 2:00 pm. no slip from city hall is necessary for this weekly allotment, but you must already be a registered hallowell food bank client for more information, please call.
